Viewers of the Victoria Derbyshire show on BBC News heard from our CEO Natalie Reynolds this morning, talking all things negotiation and exploring the persistence of the gender pay gap. Natalie was asked about how to best handle resistance to discussing pay as well as the ‘motherhood myth’ in relation to why women are still paid less on average than men. Natalie concluded the interview with the comment that we shouldn’t just wait for legislation to address problems with pay. Natalie advised that as individuals we need to be empowered to negotiate for ourselves and to do it confidently and effectively.

The full interview can be found on BBC iPlayer.
